Here is a small body Access Stage 5 Case. This one is on 10 day trial, ships out of California or South Carolina. Wholesale price is (price removed at dealer's request), about 20 bucks to ship it. So buying two or four makes more sense.

This is my wife's Taylor 312 Grand Concert, fits nice. This is a great alternative price for a pretty decent case. Has large D rings, leather handle, crushed velour interior, headstock angle covered foam pad and an insert in the lower back of the body. You can take that half pad out if not needed. The case closes nicely on the Taylor with it in.

Latches five in antique brass, as is the rest of the hardware. Good deal, nice folks, contact Keith and he'll send you one out. He was able to visit my website and see I'm building and do need more than one. This is currently the only exterior or interior. California or South Carolina? Do they have two locations or do you get those two states confused? . Seriously, what do you think of the quality, heft, strength, protection these cases afford? It looks nice.

How does the waist fit?

John, I guess if I lived on the West Coast they'd ship from CA. East coast from SC. Makes sense, still cost 19 FedEx. Shipping four or two, cost would be same basically as one, dividing shipping cost among the multiple cases. That's what I was saying.... without saying it.

Terry, the waist fits like a glove on the Taylor GC, visit their website to get specs for a nice fit on that size. Since there is no compression on the foam, anywhere, I suppose you could get a .25 to .50 inch wider and longer guitar in there no problem. And, by removing the 1/2 inch half pad from the lower bout region, you could get a deep body guitar in there. Interesting idea.

Rich, Airline? I doubt it's ATA rated. Call or email Keith and ask. He responded to all my emails easily and timely.

It's a nice looking alternative to a black hardshell or inexpensive ABS. I wouldn't hesitate to put any guitar in this case or take it on a plane or ship in it. It feels slightly lighter than the Cedar Creek Cases I have which are built like Fort Knox and cost a hundred bucks more, each. And with Cedar Creek you do have covering and interior options unavailable with Access presently.

I'll try an SJ body and see if it fits, that would be nice if it did. If so, my son's SJ goes in this one.

There main office is out of Washington State. They answer phones in SC. But
have warehouses in SC and LA to ship out of. No way an SJ will fit. I just
received 4 of these access 5 cases.
I unfortunately deleted my file that has the dimension for this case, but it
fits an OM very well.

It will not fir a SJ body. At least a 15 1/2" lower bout body with out compressing the padding too much.

Inside dims 19 1/4 body, 15" lower bout 11 1/8 upper bout, 10 1/8 waist spread, 41" inside lenght. there is a removable neck heal pad that can increase the overall body lenght by 1 1/2"

It also fits a classical very nicely.

You need to get in that case yourself and stay warm, noting your current location.

Andy, They sent me just one on trial. So I think right now, they are winking at their own policies and looking to get some market. It's nice to know they are as hungry as some of us luthiers. I do think it's smarter to buy multiples due to less freight per unit. I won't hesitate to order these cases. The fit the bill. And upgrades are negotiable for other makers.

Laurent, you are right, this brown case does have a purplish cast to the color. My wife called the color cocoa. I called mauve. The interior is mostly really brown crushed velvet. Synthetic materials do sometimes have an unusual color. I like the interior.

The case has five latches, two d-rings.

Old Man, yeah, it feels like Antarctica right now in Arkansas. Screwy weather.

Okay. I build an SJ, copied from a 1983 Olson SJ. It belonged to Keaggy who gave it to a friend of mine locally. That friend first gave him a #8 Leo Rickenbacker electric. What a trade.

My SJ fits the Access Small Body case. Here is why the silly thing does. The Access has a removable lowerbout pad, so I removed that, my SJ is deep. You still had to massage it to get it in.

So I removed the part Michael talked about earlier, a neckfoam/shoulder pad held in with velcro, screwy deal, but now the SJ drops right in no forcing. Upper bouts touch the padding as do the lower bouts. See the pic and you'll see all three removable parts to this case. Darnedest thing I ever saw.

I would like a case to form fit a little better at the waist. I can snugly fit an index finger on either side at the waist. So, if that's not acceptable, this case isn't for an Olsonish SJ. Here are the dimensions on my SJ.

Length 19 5/8", Lower Bout 15 1/8", Upper Bout 11 3/16", Waist is 9 3/16".

Below are two pics: One shows the three removable parts to the Access Stage 5. One size doesn't fit all, but they tried.

Only if they have open cartons. the will not open cartons to make up an order. there are 4 cases to a carton.

i'm working on the first of two orders for gc's based on the taylor "-12" style body, with a third hopefully about to be added to the order list.

and greenville is now only a half hour drive. looks like a case order will soon be necessary.

They are a strong 5 ply case. to me they are tougher than TKL Pro series. by a good bit I know form my short experance that the exterior covering is more tear resistant than TKL

I got an Access Stage 5 small body today. It does not have the removable
back pad, and the padding on the back of the case seems very thin. It also
differs from the photos above in having a gap of 4-5 inches in the side
padding from the waist to where the upper bout padding starts (as in the
photo on their website). It does
have the removable pad at the shoulders and one for the headstock. The
hardware works well.

It's OK, but I don't like the thin back padding, and the foam used in all the
padding seems very lightweight--it starts very stiff, but as soon as it is
crushed by squeezing, it loses resiliency. I would rather have my guitar in a
